After Insta360 announced its entry into the drone market, the Chinese action camera maker’s founder Liu Jingkang said on WeChat Moments today that he respects DJI. “When the top runners lead the marathon, we will run faster,” Liu noted, adding that Insta360 decided to enter this market five years ago after seeing the unmet consumer needs and market potential. He also expects DJI to make a move to rival Insta360 in developing panoramic cameras.
