China has lifted the yellow tsunami alert for the coastal areas of Zhejiang province and Shanghai, based on the latest monitoring data. But a yellow alert remains in place for Taiwan’s eastern coast, where tsunami risks persist after a powerful 8.8-magnitude earthquake struck off Russia earlier today.
