A total of 2,892 cases of Chikungunya, a mosquito-borne disease, have been reported from July 27 to Aug. 2, in China's southern Guangdong province, with no severe or fatal cases recorded and most being in Foshan, Xinhua reported yesterday, citing local disease control authorities.
