GAC Aion, the NEV brand under GAC Group, plans to invest in Huawang Automotive Technology to obtain up to 30 percent of the subsidiary GAC established in March to co-develop a new luxury vehicle brand with Huawei, Cailianshe reported today. GAC invested CNY1.5 billion (USD2.1 billion) to set up Huawang Auto.
