The total value of stocks traded on Chinese mainland markets surpassed CNY100 trillion (USD13.9 trillion) today for the first time, after the Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.9%, the Shenzhen Component Index gained 1.7%, and the ChiNext Index jumped 2.8%.
