China’s Liaoning province is expected to have a world-class gold mine, as preliminary assessments showed that the Dadonggou gold mine holds nearly 1,500 tons of gold resources, Xu Dachun, vice minister of natural resources and administrator of the China Geological Survey, said yesterday.
