China’s market regulator has ordered recalls of over 700,000 power bank after numerous incidents of fires and explosions earlier this year. So far, Romoss has recalled 167,000 units and issued refunds amounting to CNY22.8 million (USD3.2 million), Anker has recalled 565,000 units and refunded CNY85.7 million (USD12 million) while Xiaomi has recalled 17,000 units and issued CNY2.7 million in refunds.
