China's lottery ticket sales rose 1.4% to CNY423.2 billion (USD59.5 billion) in the first eight months from a year earlier, according to data from the Ministry of Finance. Sales of lottery tickets that support the country's welfare system climbed 1.4% to CNY142.3 billion.
