(Yicai Global) March 12 -- Eighty-five hot pot restaurants run by Haidilao International Holding will re-open for diners looking to eat in today.
The outlets will be the first batch of restaurants the chain is re-opening following closures due to Covid-19, the firm said yesterday. Its other eateries will resume business in further batches depending on the severity of outbreaks in each region.
Haidilao has a total of 550 stores in 116 Chinese cities, according to its 2019 semi-annual financial report. As of Feb. 27, more than 63 percent of them had resumed delivery.
