(Yicai Global) Dec. 12 - China's A-shares took a slight downturn after opening higher this morning amid a rise on the Hong Kong bourse. The main indexes closed mixed at lunch.

The Shanghai Composite Index closed for lunch at 2,599.16 points, up 0.22 percent, with a turnover of CNY49.8 billion (USD7.2 billion). The Shenzhen Composite Index rose 0.02 percent to 7,686.57 points with CNY79.6 billion exchanged.

The ChiNext Price Index closed at 1,333.47 points this morning, down 0.05 percent with CNY25.7 billion exchanged.
