(Yicai Global) Aug. 11 -- Zhang Yong, Chief Executive Officer of Chinese e-commerce titan Alibaba Group Holding, has been named China’s Best CEO by US business magazine Forbes.

Ma Huateng of internet giant Tencent Holdings and Ma Mingzhe of Ping An Insurance Group came in second and third places in the latest ranking released today.

Only four out of the 50 chief executives on the list are women. The average age is 54 and the average market value of the companies handled is CNY365.4 billion (USD52.6 billion).

The survey looks at the business performance of Chinese firms listed on the mainland, in Hong Kong or overseas over the last three years.
