(Yicai Global) July 5 -- Chinese third-party payments giant Ant Financial Services Group has  joined hands with Zhejiang University to establish a lab to research  tech innovation and global governance in the digital economy era.

Ant Financial and Zhejiang  University will set up doctoral and postdoctoral projects in the field  of digital finance and financial technology to foster talent, Xinhua  News Agency reported. 

Before this, Ant Financial  has partnered with Beijing's Tsinghua University, Shanghai's Tongji  University, the  Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and  the University of California, Berkeley, to collaborate in the fields of  financial security, blockchain technology, artificial intelligence, and  robo-investing.
