(Yicai Global) Sept. 25 -- Apple will work with 10 suppliers to generate 134 megawatts of energy in three wind farms in Central China's provinces of Hunan and Hubei as the first investment of the China Clean Energy Fund, The Paper reported, citing Lisa Jackson, the Cupertino-based tech giant's vice president of environmental, policy and social affairs.
The group is on its path to produce 1 gigawatt of wind power by 2022 via an investment of nearly USD300 million, the iPhone maker said in a statement on its website.
