China's A-Shares Open Lower Amid Sharp Fall in Hong Kong

(Yicai Global) Dec. 14 - China's A-shares opened lower this morning after a sharp fall on the Hong Kong bourse hit market sentiment. 

The Shanghai Composite Index opened at 2,627.28 points, down 0.26 percent, while the Shenzhen Component Index was down 0.29 percent at 7,785.29 points. The ChiNext Price Index opened at 1,346.90 points, down 0.12 percent.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index opened 1.15 percent lower at 26,219.00 points today.
