(Yicai Global) Jan. 13 -- China's automobile sales fell another 8.2 percent to 25.8 million in 2019, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers said today.
The world's largest car market declined by 2.8 percent in 2018, marking the first time it had shrunk in 28 years.
Annual sales of new-energy vehicles also slid for the first time in the past decade last year, dipping 4 percent to 1.2 million as economic growth continued to slow and the government cut subsidies, CAAM added.
