(Yicai Global) Aug. 15 -- China's cabinet, the State Council, has appointed Zhu Hexin as deputy governor of the central bank.

Zhu, 50, is former vice governor of Sichuan province and has worked as an executive at the Bank of China and Bank of Communications, the cabinet said online yesterday. His appointment completes the formation of the central bank's leadership team, it added, saying Zhu entered the role on Aug. 1.

The State Council announced several other appointments the same day, state-owned news agency Xinhua reported:

Zhan Chengfu was appointed vice minister of civil affairs.

Shen Ying was selected as deputy director of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission.

Liu Liehong was named deputy director of the Cyberspace Administration of China.

Dai Yingjun was removed as deputy head of the National Administration for the Protection of State Secrets and was appointed deputy chief of the State Post Bureau, replacing Xing Xiaojiang.
