(Yicai Global) May 15 -- China's fixed-asset investment increased 6.1 percent to CNY15.6 trillion (USD2.3 trillion) from January to April, according to data from the National Bureau of Statistics. The tally was up 0.45 percent in April.
The nation's spending on its primary industry, including mining and agriculture, fell 0.1 percent to CNY381.3 billion (USD55.5 billion). Investment in the secondary sector, involving manufacturing, rose 2.8 percent to CNY5.1 trillion. The growth of spending on the tertiary service sector advanced 7.9 percent to CNY10 trillion.
