(Yicai Global) July 26 -- Visitors of the second China International Import Expo will be able to test out driverless cars, powered by fifth-generation wireless networks, as well as a host of other attractions. 

The exhibition will have a 20,000-square meter autopilot experience zone, Fang Hui, the general manager of the National Exhibition Center Shanghai operations bureau, said at a press conference yesterday. The center is the designated venue for the expo to be held in November. The total number of technologies and services will exceed that of the first CIIE, Fang added.

The fair's panda mascot Jinbao will be made into a bilingual robot that will welcome visitors at the entrance and help them to check in while answering questions. 

Guests will also be able to get to know the Chinese cultural heritage better by enjoying Shaoxing wine, a popular variety of Chinese rice wines, and Yue Opera, a Chinese opera genre. 

Shanghai has enforced a new waste management regime this month, which will show at the expo. More than 2,000 trash bins will be placed at the venue and the number of garbage trucks will be increased to keep the venue clean.
