(Yicai Global) Aug. 7 -- China's mainland stock markets retreated to medial position after a high opening to close mixed at the lunch bell.

The Shanghai Composite Index slipped 0.01 percent to 2,777.36. The Shenzhen Component Index stopped at 8,864.65, up 0.06 percent, while the ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises in Shenzhen, nosed 0.25 percent up to 1,511.74.
