(Yicai Global) Dec. 5 -- Stock markets on the Chinese mainland rebounded this morning, mimicking the markets in the United States as they bounced back from two straight days of decline.
The Shanghai Composite Index opened 0.29 percent higher at 2,886.52, while the Shenzhen Component Index was at 9,719.30, up 0.32 percent. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises in Shenzhen, started up 0.45 percent at 1,681.25.
The Dow Jones Industry Average rose 0.53 percent yesterday, while the Nasdaq gained 0.54 percent and the S&P 500 Index rose 0.63 percent.
