China's Mainland Stock Markets Rebound at Open China's Mainland Stock Markets Rebound at Open

(Yicai Global) July 27 -- China's mainland stock markets opened higher this morning, bouncing back from a hard blow on their last trading day.

The Shanghai Composite Index opened 0.43 percent higher at 3,210.39. The Shenzhen Component Index was at 13,013.77, up 0.6 percent. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises in Shenzhen, rose 0.43 percent to 2,639.26.

The Shanghai benchmark dived 3.86 percent on July 24, marking straight two weeks of losses after the mainland markets skyrocketed in the first two weeks of the second half. The Shenzhen indexes also dropped 5.31 percent and 6.14 percent, respectively, on that day.
