(Yicai Global) July 15 --  China generated 3.4 trillion kilowatt hours of electricity in the first half of this year, 3.3 percent more than during the same period of last year, the National Bureau of Statistics released today. 

The tally rose 4.2 percent in the first quarter. It climbed 2.8 percent in June to 583.4 billion kWh, the national agency added.
