(Yicai Global) Feb.21 -- Chinese logistics company SF International has partnered with Saudi Arabian conglomerate Ajlan & Bros Holding Group Abilitii to launch a logistics joint venture, which has already begun operations in the Saudi capital of Riyadh.

ABHGA revealed news of the venture, called AJEX, in a newsletter today but did not disclose further details, such as the investment amount or the stake owned by each partner.

AJEX will provide logistics services in Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East region by land, sea and air. Headquartered in Riyadh, it also plans to expand further into the global market.

The JV aims to promote bilateral trade and business relations and will bring Chinese e-commerce into the Saudi market, allowing consumers and businesses in the Middle East to buy Chinese goods online.

ABHGA is the largest Saudi private sector conglomerate operating in China, covering financial services, consumer-oriented manufacturing, healthcare, education, mining, tourism and logistics.
