China's SHIBOR Stays Mixed as PBOC Balances Market

(Yicai Global) June 3 -- The Shanghai Interbank Offered Rate was mixed today, as the People's Bank of China 's open market operations kept the nation's monetary system balanced.

The overnight SHIBOR was down 19.10 basis points to 2.0030 percent, the one-week rate fell 9.70 bips to 2.5300 percent. The SHIBOR for three-month loans slid 0.8bips to 2.9040 percent.

PBOC conducted CNY 80 billion in seven-day reverse repos which was just enough to offset the same amount maturing today.
