China’s Shijing Environmental Wins USD19.9 Million Thai Project Deal China’s Shijing Environmental Wins USD19.9 Million Thai Project Deal

(Yicai Global) Feb. 6 -- Shijing Environmental Technology, a Chinese maker of waste handling equipment, said it has won a CNY134.5 million (USD19.9 million) contract to supply the technological process support system for a project in Thailand.

Shijing Environmental was notified that it had won the tender to supply CSI Solar’s photovoltaic module expansion project in Rojana Industrial Park in Sriracha, Chonburi province, which has an annual capacity of 5.3 gigawatts, on Feb. 3, the Chinese firm said yesterday.

The company’s success shows its competitive advantages in the field of photovoltaic new energy, Shijing Environmental noted. The PV module business is a likely growth point for the firm’s large-scale application of integrated system equipment, it pointed out.

Shijing Environmental has won contracts worth CNY157 million from Canada’s CSI Solar in the 12 months ended Feb. 3, equal to 20 percent of its 2021 audited operating revenue.

Founded in 2005, the high-tech company researches, develops, and manufactures environmental pollution control technology mainly for companies in pan-semiconductor fine chemicals, vehicle production, steel, metallurgy, cement, and building materials.

Shares of Shijing Environmental [SHE: 301030] closed down 2.3 percent at CNY45.50 (USD6.71) today, while the wider Shenzhen market came off 1.2 percent.
