(Yicai Global) June 9 -- Skyworth has become the latest official global partner of Juventus, making the television maker the Italian soccer club’s first Chinese partner in the TV and smart home products category.
A major milestone for Skyworth in its global expansion, the brand partnership will run until the end of Lega Serie A 2022, the Shenzhen-based firm said in a statement yesterday after the deal was signed in Beijing. The tie-up will see a range of co-branded content released via global platforms and during Juventus home matches.
“Football is a sport that brings players and fans from around the world together,” said Chief Brand Officer Leo Tang. “Skyworth believes in the importance of togetherness and we have been championing that through delivering top-quality TV experiences.”
Turin-based Juventus, one of the world’s top 10 soccer clubs, has a 123-year history and more than 440 million global fans.
“Together with Skyworth, we cannot wait to bring more of the action to fans across the globe and create meaningful experiences that will enable fans to feel and share the excitement with us,” said Federico Palomba, managing director of Juventus Football Club Asia Pacific.
