The Shanghai Composite Index dropped 0.34 percent to 3,370.17 points at the close, turning over 187.9 billion yuan.
The Shenzhen Component Index closed at 11,189.55 points, down 0.83 percent, with 245.6 billion yuan exchanged.
The Growth Enterprise Index fell 0.30 percent to 1,862.61 points, with a turnover of 67.1 billion yuan.
