China's Stock Markets Closed Higher In Early Session, Turnover Downward China's Stock Markets Closed Higher In Early Session, Turnover Downward

(Yicai Global) Oct. 13 -- China's main-board stock markets closed slightly higher amid fluctuation in the morning trading. 

The Shanghai Composite Index edged up 0.15 percent to 3,391.16 points at the close of early trading, with a turnover of CNY93.84 billion.

The Shenzhen Component Index was up 0.61 percent to 11,376.37 points, with CNY145.3 billion exchanged. 

The Growth Enterprise Index was up 0.90 percent to 1,917.14 points, while turnover increased to CNY46.96 billion.

Despite the trading volume of growth enterprise stocks expanding, the total turnover was only CNY238.3 billion, compared to CNY258.9 billion at te same time yesterday.
