(Yicai Global) May 15 -- Chinese stock markets closed on different sides of the starting point after rising this morning as caution prevailed.

The Shanghai Composite Index closed 0.07 percent down at 2,868.46. The Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.02 percent to 10,964.89. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises listed in Shenzhen, advanced 0.31 percent to 2,124.31.
