(Yicai Global) Aug. 24 -- Hunan China Sun Pharmaceutical Machinery Co. [SHE:300216] (CSPM) and China United Network Communications Ltd. [SHA:600050] (China Unicom) Hunan Branch have entered into a strategic cooperation agreement.

The parties will work together in such areas as an application platform, communication business, Internet of Things, cloud computing and Big Data, and China Unicom will become a platform service cooperative partner of CSPM's smart medical business, as the latter announced today.

China Unicom will provide high-level service at competitive pricing to CSPM to lift the company's information capability and furnish it with comprehensive application information solutions for smart parks, smart factories and intelligent equipment management.

The cooperation will benefit CSPM's expansion in the smart health monitoring watch sales market and will also raise the company's profitability and comprehensive competitiveness.

The mode of cooperation between CSPM and China Unicom will be copied and promoted to other areas of China Unicom in the future, the company said.
