(Yicai Global) May 23 -- Vipshop Holdings, a Chinese online discount retailer, has lifted its net income attributable to shareholders by 65 percent to CNY873.2 million (USD126.2 million) in the first quarter of this year, spurred by its cooperation with the e-commerce giants of Tencent Holdings and JD.Com.
Vipshop boosted its revenue over 7 percent to CNY21.3 billion (USD3.1 billion), the Guangzhou-based firm's earnings report shows.
The company's collaboration with Tencent and JD.Com brought in about a one-quarter increase in client base, it said.
