(Yicai) Oct. 2 -- Bond issuances in China totaled CNY6.63 trillion (USD923.4 billion) in August, data from the central bank showed.

Treasury bond issuances stood at CNY922.4 billion, while local government bond issuances amounted to CNY1.31 trillion, according to the People's Bank of China.

In August, issuances of financial bonds came in at CNY919.5 billion, while corporate credit bond issuances totaled about CNY1.45 trillion.

Issuances of credit-asset-backed securities stood at CNY33.2 billion, and the issuance of interbank deposit certificates hit CNY1.96 trillion.
