China's Kling AI Debuts World's First AIGC Anthology Series China's Kling AI Debuts World's First AIGC Anthology Series

(Yicai) June 26 -- Kling AI, an advanced text-to-video and image-to-video generator developed by Chinese short-video platform Kuaishou Technology, has launched the world's first anthology series produced using artificial intelligence.

Loading the New World, which premiered yesterday, was co-produced by Kling AI and Kuaishou's Xingmang Short Drama with the help of a team from film and television producer Outliers. The series combines science fiction, historical, fantasy, and absurd comedy genres, using AI tech to seamlessly connect rapid-action fight sequences and address other challenges.

However, despite the innovative content rich in sci-fi elements, issues such as inconsistent character portrayal and vague emotional expression persist, Yicai observed.

AI video generation tech is still in an early stage, requiring creators to repeatedly rewrite and adjust prompts to achieve the desired effects rather than being a one-click action for immediate use, Li Yang, head of product and operations of Kling AI, said at the premiere. The app's user base is primarily made up of relatively professional creators, she added.

Kling AI still faces challenges in stability, motion rendering, and clarity, Li pointed out. However, compared to its peers, it prioritizes technological implementation and user experience, focusing on early user engagement to understand needs and drive targeted iterative updates, she noted.

Kling AI has maintained a leading position in the video generation sector since its release, ranking second in text-to-video and image-to-video categories, behind only Google's Veo, according to AI models' independent analysis Artificial Analysis.
