(Yicai) July 17 -- Chinese material conveying equipment supplier Zigong Conveying Machine Group joined hands with Chinese tech giant Huawei Technologies to co-develop smart mining equipment and create artificial intelligence solutions for mining development.
ZGCMC and Huawei agreed to jointly build demonstration projects for the deep integration of AI technologies into the development and manufacturing of traditional mining equipment, including adopting AI models and digital operations, the Sichuan province-based company announced yesterday.
ZGCMC is a material delivery system solution provider engaged in the research, development, design, production, and sales of complete sets of equipment, including belt conveyors.
The cooperation will give full play to both companies' industrial and technical resources, build a digital and intelligent integrated solution connecting mines, bulk material ports, and equipment manufacturers, and form comprehensive solutions, ZGCMC noted, without revealing any further details.
Shares of ZGCMC [SHE: 001288] closed unchanged at CNY26.66 (USD3.67) in Shenzhen today, after opening 7 percent up.
