(Yicai Global) Aug. 4 -- Yuanxin Technology, a Chinese healthcare technology services provider, has secured more than CNY1.5 billion (USD232.1 million) in its latest funding round. Investors this time included Sequoia Capital China, Springhill Fund and B Capital Group.

The Series F financing round wrapped up recently, the Beijing-based company said via its WeChat account yesterday, about six months after Yuanxin finished a Series E round in early February. The company did not provide an updated valuation of itself.

Set up in 2015, Yuanxin is well known in the field of China’s ‘internet + healthcare’ and for chronic disease management. It has set up a leading comprehensive service platform for medical treatment, medication and payment, connecting doctors, drugmakers, insurers, hospitals and patients.

The firm will use the new funds to further expand its service network, customize a post-diagnosis course management system for patients with multiple diseases, step up efforts in building a digital hospital network and develop multi-disease commercial health insurances, it said.

Yuanxin is considering an initial public offering in Hong Kong as soon as this year that could raise at least USD500 million, Bloomberg News reported in May, citing people familiar with the matter.
