(Yicai Global) April 16 -- Stock markets on China's mainland were mixed at the lunch break, with major indexes that rebounded from early losses unable to sustain their temporary gains as investors adopted a wary stance ahead of tomorrow’s release of China's key first quarter economic data.
The Shanghai Composite Index was down 0.17 percent to 2,806.46 at the lunch bell, while the Shenzhen Component Index dipped 0.25 percent at 10,391.12. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises listed in Shenzhen, was up 0.52 percent to 1,987.74.
