(Yicai Global) Sept. 18 -- Chinese company Sun Create Electronics will provide a total of seven systems for air traffic control radar projects in Taiyuan and other places in northern China, marking the firm's first successful bid for civil aviation radar procurement.

The firm has won the CNY82.5 million (USD12 million) order from China Aviation Supplies International Tendering which includes one radar system device integrating primary and secondary surveillance, and six secondary surveillance devices, the Anhui-based company said in a statement.

The contract marks a broadening market scope for the company's products and will improve its operating results.
