(Yicai Global) April 29 -- China’s mainland stock markets opened lower this morning while photoresist makers, corn, and live-streaming firms were among the worst performers.

The Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.31 percent to 2,801.38. The Shenzhen Component Index slid 0.38 percent to 10,460.99. The ChiNext index decreased by 0.4 percent to 2,022.51.

The sectors of road transportation and livestock rose the most as China's transport ministry said yesterday that drivers will need to start paying highway tolls again on May 6.
