(Yicai Global) June 18 -- As investors were reluctant to trade, China's stock markets closed slightly higher with gold stocks among the top gainers.
The Shanghai Composite Index closed 0.09 percent higher at 2,890.16, while the Shenzhen Component Index was 0.27 percent higher at 8,804.32 and the ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises in Shenzhen, closed 0.93 percent higher at 1,455.75.
Gold stocks rose 1.5 percent at the close.
