(Yicai Global) Nov. 28 -- China's Luthai Textile will invest USD60 million in a cotton yarn production line in Vietnam as part of the firm's efforts to bolster its industrial chain.

Luthai's Vietnam unit will set up a wholly-owned project company in Tinh Tay Ninh to carry out construction, operation and sales related to the facility, the Shandong-based firm said in a statement.

The facility will feature a 144,000-yarn spinning production line and a 3,000-yarn air spinning production line.
