(Yicai Global) Sept. 26 -- Smart equipment maker Shenzhen Das Intellitech Co. [SHE:002421] has obtained a business license for a wholly-owned subsidiary located in northern Xiong'an New Area, in China's northern Hebei province, becoming one of the first firms successfully registered in the new developmental area,  Shanghai Securities reported on Sept. 25.

The subsidiary will engage in construction projects related to smart buildings, transportation and healthcare.

Das Intellitech set up a northern headquarters in July 2017 and built a 1,600-square-meter smart city exhibition hall. The company, headquartered in China's southern Guangdong province, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Hebei Construction Group Corp. in September for the integrated design and construction of smart buildings in Xiong'an New Area, Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei.

Das Intellitech has also established an engineering technology service center in Xiong'an, providing construction services for multiple public projects in the region. Another of its wholly-owned subsidiaries, Jiuxin Meditech Group, won a contract to supply smart medical devices to Baoding Maternal and Child Health Hospital in September.

The firm expects its Xiong'an subsidiary to boost its cooperation opportunities with internet and Big Data enterprises engaged in local processing of cloud storage and data mining.
