(Yicai Global) Feb. 10 --  Real estate giant China Evergrande Group has given CNY100 million  (USD14.3 million) to the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences to spur  drug development to combat the new coronavirus, the receiver said in a  statement today.

Evergrande already donated  CNY200 million to Central China's Wuhan, the epicenter of the outbreak,  as well as 5,000 metric tons of fresh food to the residents of the city  under lockdown.
