(Yicai Global) July 31 -- China's Central Commission for Discipline Inspection is investigating Hu Haibang, former chairman of the China Development Bank, for serious violations of the law -- the nation's formal term for corruption -- it said online today.
The CCDI is the highest internal discipline institution of the Communist Party and aims to combat corruption within it. The CDB is a development bank controlled by the cabinet, or State Council.
