(Yicai Global) Sept. 11 -- Airburg, an intelligent air service provider, obtained tens of millions of dollars financing led by Lightspeed China Partners with participation from ZhenFund, 36kr.com reported today. Founded in 2014, Airburg is an intelligent air service company that offers air solutions. Its main products are air detectors and fresh air purification systems.

Given the severe haze environment in China, the current air purifiers in China are imperfect in three aspects, including unsatisfying purification effect, limited purification space, and airtight interior space due to closed doors and windows during use, claimed Yuan Xukun, CEO of Airburg. However, Airburg offers a different solution, he said, such as the fresh air purification system, which replaces all the air in the room, sucks the filtered clean air outdoor into the room, and then discharges the dirty air.

The fresh air system allows the air in the closed room to flow and keeps the concentration of contamination gases such as carbon dioxide at a low level. Furthermore, the Airburg fresh air system will monitor the indoor air condition in real time and maintain the PM2.5 concentration low. In addition, compared to the international standard for air purifiers, which requires a noise of no higher than 66 decibels, Airburg can reduce the noise to less than 40.6 decibels (lowest noise can be 23.2 decibels), equivalent to the daily office environment, Yuan Xukun claimed.

Now the offline distributors of Airburg spread over 25 cities and focus on the promotion of business cooperation types. Yuan Xukun said that Airburg would continue to increase the investment in product development and service team. To cover more scenarios, the Airburg program will introduce a number of new wind turbines which are applicable to the big dwelling size, commercial use, vehicles and other scenarios. It will also launch two air test products.

On top of that, Airburg will provide B-end merchants with the lease of the commercial central ventilation system which covers educational institutions, offices, commercial real estates and other scenarios and lowers the thresholds for usage and initial investment by B-end users.

Mi Qun, lead investor of the financing and co-founder and partner of Lightspeed China Partners, said that the investment in Airburg relied on its explosive growth in the past two years, as well as its product research and development capacity, business model and market performance.
