(Yicai Global) Sept. 2 -- Fuyao Glass Industry Group will supply US electric carmaker Tesla's Gigafactory 3 in Shanghai, the company said today on the investor communications platform of the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

Fuzhou-based Fuyao, whose US unit was the subject of a recent Netflix documentary made by a production company set up by former US President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, is also the glass vendor for Chinese new energy vehicle makers Xpeng Motors and Nio.
