(Yicai Global) Sept. 21 -- German pharmaceutical giant Bayer has doubled the size of its display area at this year’s China International Import Expo and will present four key products to the world, including its latest targeted alpha-therapy for prostate cancer.

Bayer’s intelligent magnetic resonance high-pressure contrast injection system, melatonin-free compound plant sleeping pills and customized agricultural solutions will also be on show in Shanghai in November, Yicai Global learned at the 50-day countdown event to the 3rd CIIE.

In addition, Bayer, which attended the first two expos, will run an independent booth at the new special subsections on public health and epidemic control products and services to present the firm's latest achievements in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.

“Health for all, hunger for none” is Bayer’s new vision, the Leverkusen-based firm said. The company will use the experience accumulated in China to help local people create a better life through innovation and cooperation.

Most of its business highlights will be concentrated in the Pharmaceutical, Consumer Health and Crop Science sectors.

Over 70 percent of the world’s top 30 medical device firms have confirmed their attendance at the 3rd CIIE, which will take place from Nov. 5 to Nov. 10. Ninety percent of the world's top 500 pharmacy companies will also be present in the Medical Equipment & Healthcare Products area.
