(Yicai Global) Aug. 20 -- China's leading laser equipment maker Han's Laser Technology Industry Group will provide processing equipment for the production of power batteries for the world's largest power battery supplier, Contemporary Amperex Technology, which will positivelyimpactHan's Laser's business expansion in the new energy battery field.

The company recently received a letter of acceptance for a project worth CNY353 million(USD51 million)from CATL, the Shenzhen-based industrial laser processing equipment maker said in a statementyesterday.

The company will provide a variety of equipment for CATL's new energy battery production line, including laser die-cutting, welding and formingmachinery.

Thisequipment is set to be delivered by the end of Januaryunder the agreement,perthe statement.
