(Yicai Global) July 6 -- Hong Kong Future Exchange introduced 10 futures contracts based on MSCI indexes today, which are denominated in USD and track underlying equities in markets such as Australia, Mainland China, India.

HKFE plans to introduce 37 futures and options contracts based on the MSCI Asia and Emerging Market Indexes in the second half, according to the May 27 press release in which it announced its agreement with New York-based global provider of equity, fixed income, hedge fund stock market indexes MSCI to offer contracts based on its data.

The MSCI China Free (US dollar-denominated) Index Futures will be listed on Aug. 3. The MSCI EM ex China Net Total Return (US dollar) Index Futures and MSCI EM Asia ex China Net Total Return (US dollar) Index Futures will debut on Aug. 13.
