(Yicai) March 11 -- The upcoming Appliance and Electronics World Expo, themed ‘Smart Artificial Intelligence, Smarter Future,’ will debut in Shanghai with a new ‘One Exhibition, Two Venues’ format.

The AWE 2026 will be held simultaneously at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre and the Shanghai Eastern Hub International Business Cooperation Zone from tomorrow to March 15.

Founded in 1992 by the China Household Electrical Appliances Association, the AWE showcases home appliances, audio-visual products, digital products, communications, smart home products, and a comprehensive smart living ecosystem encompassing people, vehicles, homes, and cities.

The Shanghai New International Expo Centre area will focus on the ‘AI Plus’ ecosystem, comprehensively showcasing the new look of the home appliance and consumer electronics industry powered by AI. Meanwhile, the Shanghai Eastern Hub IBCZ will present the latest achievements in advanced technologies in the consumer electronics industry in the AI era.

During the expo, a forum on the development of home service robots and a summit themed ‘Future Home, AI Life’ will be held. Moreover, there will be a China Household Appliances Innovation Retail Summit, which will welcome home appliance manufacturers, domestic and overseas e-commerce platforms, e-commerce content creators, and third-party data analysis organizations.
