(Yicai) Feb. 9 -- Chinese video streaming giant iQiyi has opened its first iQiyi Land immersive indoor theme park in Yangzhou, a Chinese city in eastern Jiangsu province neighboring Nanjing.

Senior executives, members from the platform's hit reality show Become a Farmer, and actors from popular dramas were among the attendees at iQiyi Land's opening ceremony yesterday.

IQiyi used innovative technology, including virtual reality headsets, light-emitting diode screens, and motion systems, to transform its film and television intellectual properties into an interactive experience at IQiyi Land, the Beijing-based firm said.

The park features seven unique zones: immersive theaters, interactive light-and-shadow spaces, stage performances, film-and-TV scene photo spots, live character interactions, social games, and IP-exclusive retail and dining, iQiyi said. Visitors can explore iconic scenes, interact with actors, and "uncover hidden storylines for a truly immersive experience."

A second iQiyi Land is under construction in Kaifeng, with a third in Beijing also having been announced.
